This holiday season, help Control Alt Delete bring comfort, nourishment, and a little holiday magic to Survivors escaping domestic violence. ❤️

At Control Alt Delete, we know that many Survivors leave abusive situations with little more than the clothes on their backs. The holidays can be especially difficult for families whose celebrations have been filled with fear, uncertainty, and trauma.

That’s why we’re collecting nonperishable food items to create our Holiday Casserole Kits for Survivors and their families as they take their first steps toward safety.

Because food is healing, and every family deserves the opportunity to create new, happy holiday memories.

Imagine a parent preparing a warm holiday meal with their children in a home where they can finally begin to feel safe. Something as simple as sharing a casserole around the table can become a meaningful first step toward creating traditions filled with love, comfort, and peace instead of fear.

🦃 Help Us Build a Holiday Casserole Kit!

We invite our community, volunteers, businesses, schools, and community groups to collect and donate the nonperishable ingredients needed to prepare a simple, delicious Thanksgiving casserole.

Suggested ingredients include:

• 1 box of stuffing mix
• 1 can of gravy
• 1 can of green beans
• 2 cans of turkey
• 1 can of sweet potatoes
• 1 can of chicken broth
• 1 package of instant mashed potatoes
• 1 box of corn bread muffin mix

✨ Make It Festive!

We encourage volunteers and donors to go beyond the ingredients and help make these holiday meals feel special!

Consider adding festive extras such as:

• Paper plates, cups, napkins, and disposable cutlery
• Holiday tablecloths
• Seasonal decorations
• Thanksgiving-themed paper goods
• Other small, family-friendly holiday surprises

These thoughtful touches can help a family create a welcoming holiday table, even when they are starting over with very little.

For Survivors of domestic violence, escaping is only the beginning. Many must rebuild their lives while navigating financial uncertainty, finding safe housing, and helping their children adjust to enormous changes.

A Holiday Casserole Kit offers more than a meal. It offers an opportunity to gather around a table, share food, laugh together, and begin building positive memories during a season that may have previously been filled with trauma.

Control Alt Delete is a volunteer-run Arizona nonprofit dedicated to removing the barriers that keep people trapped in domestic violence by providing one-time assistance to help them escape. Through the generosity of our community, we can help Survivors take another step toward safety and a brighter future.

• Organize a food drive: Invite friends, coworkers, and neighbors to help fill Holiday Casserole boxes.
