Sometimes You Need To Reset Your Life

On September 2, 2019 Control Alt Delete was founded to help people escape domestic violence by providing basic immediate needs to bridge the gap toward permanent independence.

With community support, we provide one time assistance such as transportation (cab rides, bus passes, fuel), temporary lodging, home security and lock change assistance, moving and storage, and a basic immediate needs bin (hygiene and other necessities) in order to remove the barriers that keep people in unsafe environments.

HELP CREATE A SOCIETY OF SURVIVORS.

If You Are Being Abused

98% of domestic abuse victims suffer financial abuse. This is the #1 reason why domestic violence Survivors stay. The abuser controls the money which gives the victim no financial resources to escape the relationship. If you are being abused, remember:

  • You are not to blame for being mistreated, battered, or emotionally manipulated
  • You do not cause your partner’s abusive behavior
  • You deserve to be treated with respect

  • You deserve a safe and happy life
  • Your children deserve a safe and happy life
  • YOU ARE NOT ALONE. There are people who are waiting to help.

How You Can Help

Your donations and support help Control Alt Delete provide one time assistance such as transportation (cab rides, bus passes, fuel), temporary lodging, moving and storage, and a basic immediate needs bin (hygiene and other necessities) in order to remove the barriers that keep people in unsafe environments.

Donate From Our Wish Lists

Survivors often flee abuse with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Traumatized and fearful, they turn to organizations like Control Alt Delete LLC for refuge and to be provided everything they need to start over from bedding and towels to toothbrushes and shampoo. We have partnered with Amazon, Target, and domesticshelters.org to compile wish lists of necessary items so we can continue helping domestic violence victims.

Creating a society of survivors

I couldn’t afford to leave and I was too embarrassed to ask for help.  He controlled everything in my life including money.

Survivor rescued in 2020

I always thought abuse was bruises and broken bones. Fear kept me there, then fear made us escape.

“You helped us when no one else would.”
A Survivor 2022, They are safe!

Abuse was something I never experienced before.  I kept thinking, “how did my life end up like this?” Everybody loves him and no one believed me.

Survivor rescued in 2020

Never again. I am stronger than he believed me to be.

I can let my fears strangle me or him.

Domestic violence feels like - Survivor rescued 2021,

I couldn’t come up with another excuse at the hospital for the bruises and broken bones.  I knew he would be furious I left but I will never go back.

Survivor rescued in 2020

I’m not crazy – I am abused. He didn’t hit me so I didn’t think it was abuse. Words are painful weapons.

Every day we’ve been balancing on a thin wire while he jumps up and down on it.

We have been walking on thin ice with the fear of it cracking and falling thru. We have drowned from the icy terror of our life with him.

We here at ACESDV really appreciate the assistance that your organization give survivors of domestic violence. I was on the phone with the survivor and she was so emotional about receiving the voucher because she had no where to go.

From an Advocate 2022

I’m in a storm and I never can guess if it will blow by or if I will get pummeled by a tornado.
