Volunteer

Control Alt Delete offers volunteering opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages! If you have an idea for a volunteering opportunity that we do not currently have listed, we would love to hear from you. Our vision is to remove the immediate barriers that keep people in domestic violence situations from escaping and to create a society of Survivors.

Adults and kids of all ages can help make Morse Code Bracelets for survivors, host a donation drive to collect hygiene items for BIN bins (Basic Immediate Needs bins), collect tennis shoes and participate in outreach activities and other events.

Control Alt Delete partners with wonderful agencies that provide clothing and furniture/household items to the Survivors. If you have this type of donations please consider The Clothes Cabin and Furnishing Dignity.

A Survivor 2022, They are safe!

Never again. I am stronger than he believed me to be.

    Survivor rescued in 2020

I’m not crazy – I am abused. He didn’t hit me so I didn’t think it was abuse. Words are painful weapons.

    Survivor rescued in 2020

We have been walking on thin ice with the fear of it cracking and falling thru. We have drowned from the icy terror of our life with him.

Domestic violence feels like - Survivor rescued 2021

We here at ACESDV really appreciate the assistance that your organization give survivors of domestic violence. I was on the phone with the survivor and she was so emotional about receiving the voucher because she had no where to go.

    From an Advocate 2022

It’s like stepping on egg shells and never knowing if they will crack or slice you open.

Domestic violence feels like - Survivor rescued 2021,
Thank you she informed that she received and was very ecstatic to have it , thank you for all the assistance you provide!
    From an Advocate 2022

I couldn’t afford to leave and I was too embarrassed to ask for help.  He controlled everything in my life including money.

    Survivor rescued in 2020

I can let my fears strangle me or him.

Domestic violence feels like - Survivor rescued 2021,

I couldn’t come up with another excuse at the hospital for the bruises and broken bones.  I knew he would be furious I left but I will never go back.

    Survivor rescued in 2020

I’m in a storm and I never can guess if it will blow by or if I will get pummeled by a tornado.

Domestic violence feels like - Survivor rescued 2021

Never again. I am stronger than he believed me to be.

    Survivor rescued in 2020

Abuse was something I never experienced before.  I kept thinking, “how did my life end up like this?” Everybody loves him and no one believed me.

    Survivor rescued in 2020

Every day we’ve been balancing on a thin wire while he jumps up and down on it.

Domestic violence feels like - Survivor rescued 2021

I always thought abuse was bruises and broken bones. Fear kept me there, then fear made us escape.

    CHANGE A LIFE TODAY

It doesn’t take much to help domestic violence victims and their children escape abuse. Help us remove the barriers keeping victims in abusive relationships.

    How Your Donation Helps

99% of domestic violence victims experience financial abuse. Financial abuse involves controlling a victim’s ability to acquire, use, and maintain financial resources. Those who are victimized financially may be prevented from working. They also may have their own money restricted or stolen by the abuser.

Control Alt Delete helps victims remove immediate financial barriers that prevent them from escaping domestic violence.
