Control Alt Delete is incredibly honored and excited to be selected as a Charity of the Month for October 2026 at Bashas’, Food City, and AJ’s Fine Foods!
And the timing could not be more meaningful.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM)—a month dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence, supporting Survivors, and taking action to help people reach safety.
Throughout October, shoppers at Bashas’, Food City, and AJ’s Fine Foods locations will have an opportunity at the cash register to support Control Alt Delete and our mission to remove the barriers that keep people trapped in domestic violence.
💜 Why This Partnership Matters
Leaving an abusive situation isn’t always as simple as deciding to leave.
A Survivor may be ready to escape but have nowhere to go, no transportation, no money for fuel, no safe place to sleep, or other basic needs standing between them and safety.
Control Alt Delete helps remove those barriers.
We are a crisis-response organization providing one-time, immediate assistance to help Survivors escape domestic violence and reach safety.
That assistance can include emergency transportation, fuel, hotel stays, bus tickets, security cameras, new locks, grocery assistance, and other practical resources that can make escaping possible.
