At Control Alt Delete, we know that escaping domestic violence can be a matter of life and death. For Survivors facing the highest levels of danger, having access to immediate assistance can make all the difference. That is why we are incredibly grateful to The HS Lopez Family Foundation for awarding a grant to support High Lethality Risk Escapes from domestic violence.
This generous support helps Control Alt Delete remove the barriers that keep Survivors trapped in dangerous situations and gives them an opportunity to take a critical step toward safety.
When Every Moment Matters
Not all domestic violence situations carry the same level of risk. Some Survivors face circumstances where the danger of remaining with their abuser is especially severe. These high-lethality-risk situations require urgent action, resources, and the ability to respond when a referral comes in.
For a Survivor who is finally able to escape, barriers such as a lack of transportation, financial resources, or a safe place to go can make leaving feel impossible. When the risk is high, delays can have devastating consequences.
Control Alt Delete exists to eliminate those barriers.
Through our referral-based crisis response model, we work with advocates, law enforcement, prosecutors, Family Advocacy Centers, shelters, and other community partners to provide immediate, practical assistance to Survivors experiencing active domestic violence. Our focus is simple: help Survivors take the steps they need to reach safety when they are able to escape.
Turning Generosity Into Life-Saving Action
The grant from The HS Lopez Family Foundation strengthens our ability to respond to high-lethality-risk escapes when urgent assistance is needed most.
Every escape is different. Some Survivors need transportation to reach a safe location. Others may need temporary lodging or other essential resources to make leaving possible. For families escaping abuse, the challenges can be even greater when children and pets are involved.
By supporting High Lethality Risk Escapes, The HS Lopez Family Foundation is helping make critical assistance available when Survivors face some of the most dangerous moments of their lives.

Our mission is to remove the barriers that keep people trapped in domestic violence by providing one-time assistance to help them escape. We focus on the immediate crisis rather than long-term wraparound services, allowing us to direct resources toward the urgent needs that can stand between a Survivor and safety.
We are proud to work alongside more than 300 referring agencies that help connect Survivors with the assistance they need. Together, we can respond to dangerous situations with urgency and compassion.
