The Sundt Foundation – Saving Lives!
In July 2020 The Sundt Foundation awarded Control Alt Delete a grant; a lifesaving grant.
Control Alt Delete removes the barriers that often keep people in unsafe domestic violence environments. We bridge the gap in services and help in that immediate time of need providing services such as gas gift cards, cab rides, bus tickets, hotel rooms and new locks and security measures for homes the Survivors will be staying in.
This Sundt grant helped with:
33 escapes from domestic violence.
There were 73 children and 102 pets included in those 33 escapes. 208 lives saved!
Control Alt Delete provided gas gift cards, cab rides, bus tickets, hotel rooms, new door and window locks as well as several security systems.
Every in-person escape received a BIN Bin – basic immediate need bin – full of hygiene items and other essentials. BIN Bins allow some dignity to those escaping by not having to ask for help with hygiene and essential items.
Thanks to this generous grant Control Alt Delete was able to spring into action as the requests for help came in from various victim advocates.
