Control Alt Delete shares gratitude to the City of Mesa, AZ for hosting an inspiring and impactful Domestic Violence Awareness Night and inviting us as the keynote speaker.

On 10/2/2025, the City of Mesa, Arizona hosted an unforgettable Domestic Violence Awareness Night that was both inspiring and deeply emotional. The event brought together Survivors, advocates, law enforcement, city leaders, and community members to stand united in the fight against domestic violence.

Control Alt Delete was honored to be invited as the keynote speaker for this year’s event. Sharing our mission, our stories, and the realities of what Survivors face every single day in a city so committed to awareness and change was profoundly moving.

An Evening of Hope and Impact

From start to finish, the Domestic Violence Awareness event in Mesa was powerful. It was a reminder that domestic violence does not live in silence when a community chooses to rise together. Every moment—every story, every embrace, every candle lit—served as a symbol of both remembrance and resilience.

At Control Alt Delete, we know the heartbreaking reality: on average, we facilitate 50 escapes from domestic violence every single day. Survivors are leaving abuse in Arizona, coming to Arizona for safety, or leaving Arizona to find freedom. While these numbers are staggering, what filled the room in Mesa was not despair—it was hope.

Hope because the City of Mesa created space for awareness.
Hope because Survivors felt seen, heard, and supported.
Hope because together, we are saving lives.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We extend our deepest gratitude to the City of Mesa, AZ for hosting such a meaningful Domestic Violence Awareness Night and for inviting Control Alt Delete to deliver the keynote address. It is an honor to stand alongside a city so dedicated to shining light on an issue that affects countless lives.

Moving Forward, Together

Events like this remind us that real change happens when communities come together. To the City of Mesa and specifically the City Prosecutor’s Office Victim Services, to every Survivor, and to every supporter who stood with us last night—thank you.
