Meet Allison Thomison: The New 2026 Mrs. Arizona American and a Powerful Voice for Escape, Safety, and Hope
Allison Thomison has officially been crowned the 2026 Mrs. Arizona American, and her title could not be more meaningful, more timely, or more deeply aligned with her mission. As a survivor, advocate, and strong public voice for Control Alt Delete—the Arizona nonprofit providing one‑time assistance to help survivors escape domestic violence—Allison is using her platform to amplify a message that too many still need to hear: escape is possible, help exists, and no one deserves to live in fear.
A Title Awarded on a Mega Escape Weekend — and Why That Matters
Allison’s crowning took place on Memorial Day weekend, one of Control Alt Delete’s most intense periods of the year. These “Mega Escape Days” see escape numbers skyrocket from the usual 50 escapes per day into the hundreds.
The average family escaping? A mom with three children and a pet—a family unit trying to break free from violence with nothing but courage and the hope of a safer life.
That Allison received her title on a weekend defined by bravery, survival, and new beginnings makes her win not just symbolic, but profoundly fitting.

A Voice for Survivors in a Time of Urgency
Today, 1 in 3 women will experience abuse in their lifetime. That means someone you know—someone in your circle, your workplace, your neighborhood—is likely trapped in an abusive situation right now.
Allison refuses to let those statistics remain invisible. Through her role as Mrs. Arizona American, she is elevating the mission of Control Alt Delete, helping more people understand that:
- Domestic violence is not caused by drugs or alcohol. These substances may intensify an already volatile situation, but they do not create abuse. Abuse is a choice—never a mistake, never an accident.
- Escape assistance saves lives. Control Alt Delete provides one‑time, immediate help—transportation, lodging, safety measures, and more—to get Survivors out now, not later.
- Every escape contributes to a Society of Survivors—a growing community of people who broke the cycle and are building safer futures.
Breaking the Cycle for the Next Generation
Domestic violence is generational. It passes through families like a shadow—until someone stands up and says no more.
Allison is that person.
Her children will never know the terror, fear, or instability of living in an abusive home. They will never learn to walk on eggshells. They will never wonder which version of a parent will walk through the door.
That is the gift she has given them. A generational reset. A new legacy. A home built on safety, not survival.
And now, as Mrs. Arizona American, she is helping other families find that same freedom.
A Platform With Purpose
Allison’s reign is not about crowns or sashes—it’s about impact. She is using her visibility to:
- Raise awareness about the realities of domestic violence
- Educate communities on how to recognize and respond to abuse
- Support survivors in their most vulnerable moments
- Grow the reach of Control Alt Delete so more families can escape safely
Her message is clear: You are not alone. You are not trapped. You can escape.
A Society of Survivors — And a Leader Among Them
Control Alt Delete believes in building a world where survivors are not defined by what happened to them, but by what they overcame. Allison embodies that truth.
Her story is proof that every generation has the power to break the cycle—and that when one person escapes, an entire family’s future changes.
