Control Alt Delete 2025 Impact & Annual Report
Saving Lives. Creating Safety. Delivering Hope.
As we reflect on 2025, one truth stands above all others: safety cannot wait. When the advocates for Survivors of domestic violence reach out, they are often doing so at the most dangerous moment of the Survivors lives. Because of the unwavering support of our donors, partners, and advocates, Control Alt Delete was ready — every single time.
2025 By the Numbers
In 2025, Control Alt Delete helped 22,958 Survivors escape to safety. Those escapes protected entire families, including:
- 43,480 children
- 9,090 pets — because safety must include every family member
Within those escapes:
- 1,745 were senior citizens
- 938 were Veterans
These numbers represent real people, real fear, and real courage. They also represent action — fast, decisive, and life‑saving.
What Survivors Needed Most
Every escape looks different, but Survivors consistently needed immediate, practical help to get out and stay safe. In 2025, Control Alt Delete provided:
- 12,159 transportation-to-safety escapes — bus, cab, fuel or rides to reach safety
- 10,896 escapes supported with grocery assistance and BIN Bins — food, hygiene items, and essentials when Survivors leave with nothing
- 3,917 escapes assisted with security measures — cameras, locks, alarms, and safety kits
- 67 escapes requiring help with moving or storage — because rebuilding begins with stability (this is the least funded designated item)
- 121 escapes needing a Freedom Phone — safe communication can save lives
- 101 escapes needing emergency hotel assistance — when there was nowhere else to go
Each of these interventions represents a moment where safety was at risk — and a solution was delivered.
A Network of Trust and Action
In 2025, Control Alt Delete worked with over 220 referring agencies from Arizona and beyond. Advocates, shelters, hotlines, law enforcement partners, attorneys, medical professionals, JAG offices and community organizations reached out because they knew one thing: when lives are at risk, Control Alt Delete acts.
Arizona is the common denominator in our escapes. Survivors are:
- Staying in Arizona to reach safety
- Coming to Arizona for protection
- Leaving Arizona to reach safety elsewhere
No matter the direction, Arizona remains the hub — and Control Alt Delete remains the lifeline.
The Cost of Saving Lives — and the Power of Support
None of these escapes — not one — would be possible without donor support.
In 2025, Control Alt Delete was sustained by a powerful community of supporters who believed that safety cannot wait. Because of them, immediate help was available when Survivors needed it most. Financial support in 2025 included:
- $89,569.87 in individual donations
- $79,940.00 in grants
- $34,150.00 in in-kind donations
These resources directly funded transportation, groceries, BIN Bins, security measures, emergency hotel stays, Freedom Phones, and other life-saving interventions.
In 2025, the average actual cost to Control Alt Delete for an escape was just $16.56.
The average family unit we served remained consistent:
A mom with three children and one pet
That small dollar amount carried extraordinary impact because of our model: direct assistance, rapid response, and donor dollars going exactly where they are needed most. Every contribution helped stretch resources further, ensuring no Survivor was left behind due to cost.
More Than Numbers — A Lifeline
These statistics represent late‑night phone calls, last‑minute bus tickets, emergency groceries, and security installations completed just in time. They represent advocates reaching out when no one else could help — and Control Alt Delete saying yes.
None of this is possible without you.
To every donor, partner, advocate, and supporter: you saved lives in 2025. Your belief in immediate action and Survivor‑centered support made this record‑breaking year possible.
Celebrating Six Years of Saving Lives
In October, we gathered as a community to celebrate 6 Years of Saving Lives at our annual fundraising event. The afternoon was filled with love, laughter, and memories made — a powerful reminder that behind every number is a network of people who care deeply about Survivors and about each other.
That celebration honored not only how far we’ve come, but the countless lives made safer along the way. And we honored and remembered those whose lives were lost due to domestic violence. We will never forget and you are the reason we keep going.
As we move into the future, our mission remains unchanged:
Every Survivor deserves safety. Every time. Without delay.
Thank you for standing with Control Alt Delete — and for making escape possible.
