Daily Points of Light Award

We are thrilled to announce that Laura Pahules, founder and president of Control Alt Delete, has been honored with the prestigious Daily Point of Light Award on February 10, 2025. This national recognition celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities through volunteer service.

Laura’s journey began in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area, where she identified a critical need to support individuals escaping domestic violence. In response, she established Control Alt Delete, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing immediate assistance to those fleeing abusive situations. The organization offers essential resources such as transportation, temporary shelter, and security measures, ensuring that Survivors have the support they need during their most vulnerable moments.

In addition to this recent accolade, Laura was recognized as one of the 2024 honorees for the L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth program. This program celebrates female nonprofit leaders who are making a significant impact in their communities.

Laura’s dedication and tireless efforts have not only provided immediate relief to countless individuals but have also raised awareness about the pervasive issue of domestic violence. Her work exemplifies the power of community-driven initiatives and the profound impact one individual can have on the lives of many.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Laura Pahules for this well-deserved recognition and express our deepest gratitude for her unwavering commitment to making the world a safer place for Survivors of domestic violence.

Control Alt Delete removes the barriers that keep people in unsafe and abusive situations by providing one time assistance at the most vulnerable and crucial times as Survivors are actually escaping. We can’t do it without you, our supporters.
