Providing Gas Cards So Survivors Can Escape
Thank you Arizona Financial Credit Union for the $1500 grant to provide gas cards for people escaping domestic violence!
Everyday Control Alt Delete gets requests from victim advocates, prosecutor offices and crisis response teams for assistance with fuel. Many Survivors of domestic violence have a vehicle but not money for gas to flee. It can be hard to imagine that a $20 gas gift card can be the difference between staying and escaping but that is the reality for many Survivors.
This generous grant will provide fuel for 75 escapes from domestic violence allowing 75 Survivors, their children and pets the ability to flee and start a life free from the trauma of domestic violence.
